Inspection Education & Training This is a general forum for inspectors to discuss their educational experience, and to ask questions of InterNACHI's Education Committee. This forum is dedicated to the memory of InterNACHI member and educator Gerry Beaumont. Gerry was an avid proponent of education for inspectors and will be sorely missed.

Default CEU's

How many CEU's do you need per year?

If I recieve more than needed do they carry over for the following year? Ex. suppose I need 16 CEU's per year, and I end up doing 20 within 1 year, does 4 carry over to the next year so I only need 12 in that year?

Does the electrical and roofing coarse and anything else NACHI's site has to offer count for any CEU's?

What record keeping must I have to prove my getting them?

I did all requirments to be a member, but my 100 inspections, does this make me a part member by the law of PA and or by NACHI's membership guidlines?

Thanks

Hi Brian,

In answer to your questions:
  • 24
  • Yes
  • Yes, 4 hours each,
  • Fill in the courses uou have competed on the mebers education log
  • Keep any certificates or notices of completion in case of auditing
  • Under NACHI rules and the laws of the State of PA you are a working member until you can furnish the office with an affidavit stating that you have completed 100 inspections.
BTW, tried to call you about your furnace question, give me a call to discuss.

Regards

Gerry
