Joe, I'll go there Monday or Tuesday and politely see if I can expedite the process. I met Sylvia last month so she might or might not remember me but that's OK. For what it's worth I too applied for an instructors approval and received that 5 yr approval certificate within about 10 days.

No, not really. There's a move afoot that would require new fast-track inspector students to have 120 hours of 'experience' training in lieu of real experience (but you knew that ) and that the already licensed inspectors that might want to provide that experience, in the form of ride-alongs, to be approved as a 'sponsor'. I thought I'd get my instructor approval at the same time in case that came into the equation somehow.

Strange, I received the Instructor approval in 10 days but still no word on the Sponsor approval after about 30 days so I want to go check on that as well.

Absolutely! Buy me lunch at Scholz biergarten downtown and we can drive by DKR-Memorial Stadium and you can display the Hook'em Horns sign and you will be official then. Hey, they need all the support we can give them after last week's loss .

New Hampshire Seminar

December 08, 2007

Hi to all!
I'm pleased to announce that once again Joe Farsetta came through for New Hampshire.

On December 08, 2007 Joe traveled to New Hampshire to give an excellent presentation entitled "Certified Commercial Inspector"!

This presentation was focused on dissecting and more importantly understanding ASTM 2018 -1. Joe was able to take each section of this nationally recognized standard and dissect it while explaining the true meaning of what you were reading.

Many of us "thought" that we knew/understood this nationally recognized standard but after Joe finished explaining it we realized that it is extremely easy to misunderstand sections and to go astray.

We live in a litigious society and if you do not fully understand the national standards/guidelines that you must adhere to you will leave the door wide open for a lawsuit and soon find yourself at the mercy of anyone who wants to make a "quick buck" off if you!

I strongly recommend this course to those "experienced" Commercial Inspectors who all are already in the business and for those residential inspectors who want to further their education.

Once again, kudos to Joe Farsetta for an excellent presentation and I highly recommend this course!
