Inspection Education & Training This is a general forum for inspectors to discuss their educational experience, and to ask questions of InterNACHI's Education Committee. This forum is dedicated to the memory of InterNACHI member and educator Gerry Beaumont. Gerry was an avid proponent of education for inspectors and will be sorely missed.

Darn it nick, I cannot make it. I'm booked all next week and into the following week due to national and az ashi's phenomenal success of marketing their members.

If I did I would be a little concerned as I've seen photos with your trophy ashi members, [a little to cudly for me] remember I say we were buds not close buds.
it's ok with me if you buy tony [if I recall he's a former az guy] all the food and drinks.

Dan, for the next major AZ ASHI meeting, one where you have a big turn out, I'll buy all the food for the meeting... an 8 cut pizza. That should feed everyone who comes to your meetings and still have 2 slices left over. Last one left at ASHI... please turn out the lights.

Ya Ya Ya nickey.. I've been hearing that for over three years now..

If you want to make an impression in AZ your going to have to pony up a little more than one pizza.

Last week end we went thru 5 gal of chili and over 100 hot dogs,
the Feb evening meeting we went thru 14 super size pizzas and still didn't have enough.

Nick, I think you forget where Dan lives.

Last meeting I have any info on there was 45+ with some NACHI members attending for the CE as there is no NACHI chapter here. I think you will need more pizza.

There was a guy you said was the next in line for Tucson chapter president but he seems to have got a sour taste as no one would give him FREE ride alongs.

I tell you what I will do.

I will call every NACHI member on the FAI list ( this weekend) and ask about there thoughts on reopening our Tucson chapter.

If I get 10+ people that will attend then I will get the banners and what not from Mark Thomas and crank it up.

Hows that sound?

We have the makings of a very nice chapter we just need to get together on it.

If you are wondering what happened to the original chapter pm me or give me a call.

Todd....If you can do one on the north/west side of town, I'll come down, as long as nickey buys every one attending, food like AZ ashi does now.

I don't really know. The last meeting they had was on the same day as AZ ashi's, from what I heard a lot of guys showed up to see Lorens presenation and left to attend ashi's instead of staying to see nickey

There is no reason to be rude.

If I can get the people together I will re open the Tucson chapter. This could be a good thing for all of us Dan.
If we start it up again it will be anouther source of CE.

Dan you are right I was one of many who went to see Loren and then went to the ASHI meeting after. The NACHI meeting was a bunch of venders trying to sell me web site and telephone stuff (Marketing stuff) There was a better presentation and information of interest to local HI's at the ASHI meeting. The local Lawyer speaking to us about report changes and BTR info. Was great.

Once more I need to say I belong to both organizations and like both organizations for odifferent reasons.

Dan, will you join NACHI if someone paid your membership. I think you want to join us. Your always posting. Over 600 posts on the old board. I will tell ya what Dan. If you join NACHI I will let you buy you a $20.00 gift cert. to the massage parlor of your choice. You seem so stressed.

As I was at the NACHI mtg it was actually pretty good. There was an excellent presentation by the power company on electrical safety and Lorne spoke a little more.

There were some guys droning on about nothing during the first half of the mtg, but they all left.

Gary Dan was a member of NACHI for some time but he was thrown out before you came along.
I think it is interesting all of the guys that have been put out of NACHI over the years. They are all of the older expierienced HI's....
