Inspection Education & Training This is a general forum for inspectors to discuss their educational experience, and to ask questions of InterNACHI's Education Committee. This forum is dedicated to the memory of InterNACHI member and educator Gerry Beaumont. Gerry was an avid proponent of education for inspectors and will be sorely missed.

Education first, business plan second, then the world is your oyster and with whom you associate, as well.

Good luck and thanks for the refreshing honesty you posess.

My #1 choice http://www.iccsafe.org Might as well work towards code certification.

First of all DAN!!! what your doing is wrong!! Second of all, NACHI people have to sign on their membership papers that they are the one that did everything correct. If they are lying then you and them are both cut from the same cloth!

Just be sure not to help Fido with any answers, harris. He'll score much higher that way.

A man gotta do what ever it takes sometimes, gotta admit it's a tough choice at times, but I figure as long as I get enough $s to feed Bobbi A Feline " nachis official certified cat" she and I are both happy, nick gets his 289.00 and everybody wins ..not to mention in all the years that I offered this service nickey hasn't busted me yet , now that nickie requires nachi "certified inspectors" to take the same online entrance quiz every year the potential is even greater...

Diploma Mill dan:

This simply proves that our system works. He was alerted that he would benefit by learning some more before entering the profession. That is what our entrance exam does and just did again perfectly.

The no-entrance-requirement association you belong to asks some tough questions too I hear... like what kind of credit card you are using to join http://www.ashi.org/inspectors/join/...plication1.htm

Shame.

You can also get certified by AHIT (American Home Inspector Training Institute). You'll get 70 hours of intense training by some great seasoned inspectors. They'll also spend a full day of marketing with you on how to make your business grow. Our instructor had nothing but good things to say about NACHI and that's why I joined. They take you out on inspections x3 for the last two days of the course, so it's really hands on. I'm really glad I took the course and would suggest it to anyone along with the NACHI certification.

Good Luck,

When Dan was a member, I thought he was quite positive and helpful. He seems to have changed, for whatever reason, so I'm not sure I would recommend him looking in the mirror. He might not like what he sees. And we all know about those seven years of bad luck.

Mark ... I haven't had any AZ inspectors use my service..yet....don't worry from what I've been told nick waves the test requirement if the inspector passes the nhie... kinda blows the theory that anybody can pass the nhie and that nicks quiz is Superior to all others .

As most everyone knows, I have no fearless leader. However, you might try moving on with your life, putting your negative efforts here into positive efforts for your company and your family. Trying to contribute positively to society by actively participating in a positive way in your local community, schools, churches, charitable organzations like SPCA, Red Cross, Muscular Dystrophy Association, the Arts, etc. You know, things like that, things that can make a better world for everyone. Being so negative here on this Message Board doesn't help anyone, especially you.

I am on my way.

Dan, you really are takeing this to far. I'll be damned ,but you are even starting to annoy me.

It's obvious that NACHI is taking over (even in ASHI land, AZ) and it really pisses you off.

No worries Dan, just exit the BS ORG. game and move on.
