Hi,
I reside in Florida and I'm interested in becoming a home inspector. Currently, Florida has no regulations or licensing requirements for home inspectors. However, this will change in July of next year and require 120 hours of pre-examination education. I'd like to get this out of the way now rather than wait. However, I'm confused as to what type of course I'm supposed to take and at what school. I came across University of Georgia's school of continuing education which offers a 120-hour home inspection course online for $1295. The course is recognized by ASHI and NAHI. There are a few other schools that offer similar courses at a more reasonable price, but I can't seem to confirm their legitimacy. Can anyone here recommend a course/school? I'd prefer to complete it online for under $1500. I would appreciate your assistance. |
