Inspection Education & Training This is a general forum for inspectors to discuss their educational experience, and to ask questions of InterNACHI's Education Committee. This forum is dedicated to the memory of InterNACHI member and educator Gerry Beaumont. Gerry was an avid proponent of education for inspectors and will be sorely missed.

Let us know when you can stop the wind,
I've been wanting to know how to stop that wind here in Colorado for 20 years, and haven't figured it out yet...

Well if I could stop the wind I wouldn't need this job.

I think the best way to stop the wind is to put up a windmill. The second you fork out the cash for one, you will never get enough to keep the thing producing power! </IMG>

I have a video on VHS somewhere about wind breaks. Talks about types of materials (trees, solid walls etc), height, density, etc. for optium wind break. Is that the type of thing you are refering to ?

If you refering to huricane mitigation you'll have to the big guy upstairs on that one.
