| Inspection Education & Training This is a general forum for inspectors to discuss their educational experience, and to ask questions of InterNACHI's Education Committee. This forum is dedicated to the memory of InterNACHI member and educator Gerry Beaumont. Gerry was an avid proponent of education for inspectors and will be sorely missed. |

Guess I won't be sending Nicky my $s for shares in nachos privately owned relocation company that was highly touted to be the company that was going to destroy all other re-location company's in the country. </IMG></IMG></IMG></IMG></IMG></IMG></IMG></IMG></IMG></IMG></IMG> |

We had to move it. http://www.connectionsconvention.org/cnx_con_ts.html at the same time. 5 environmental associations involved with Connections. A new date will be acquired soon.
Hang on. Kool... |

As usual, you (and your link) make no sense.
If you don't like (or are jealous of) NACHI, why don't you work to get your association in better shape. Be positive. And, I do not like some of Nick's posts either. They do not help and cause problems. But that is what you get when you bring in people who only know marketing (kind of like the old 'branding' fiasco). Thanks for giving a clear witness to the other associations failures. I also don't know what the link is doing here much less his arguments. Seems that this "connections" thing is mostly carpet cleaners, flood damage people, etc. The only thing that even remotely resembles something inspectors might be interested in is Flir, but then they have free open houses, etc. all over so what's the point. I'm not sure there is much there that would attract environmental associations either. There isn't much evidence that their target market will even be in attendance.

Dan Harris,
With regard to your laughing about my prediction regarding NACHI Relo or any other work in progress... --I recall some of your posts from year's back laughing about NACHI one day having a message board would be the industry's most popular, 230,000+ posts later and I don't hear much laughing anymore. --I recall you laughing about NACHI one day having more educational events than all other orgs combined, http://www.nachi.org/events.htm later and I don't hear much laughing anymore. --I recall you laughing about NACHI one day having more members than any other organization (even that diploma mill you belong to that counts come only with cash candidates who join in 30 seconds), http://www.nachi.org/nachi_north_america.htm later and I don't hear much laughing anymore. --I recall you laughing about NACHI one day having more membership benefits than any other org (even that no-benefit org you belong to), http://www.nachi.org/benefits.htm later and I don't hear much laughing anymore. --I recall you laughing about NACHI one day having a website bigger than all other orgs combined, 175,000+ pages later and I don't hear much laughing anymore. --I recall you laughing about NACHI one day getting more traffic than all other orgs combined, http://www.nachi.org/stats.htm later and I don't hear much laughing anymore. --I recall you laughing about NACHI one day having the industry's most popular lead generators, http://www.FindanInspector.us, http://www.InspectorSEEK.com and http://www.InspectorLocator.com later and I don't hear much laughing anymore. --I recall you laughing about NACHI one day having vendor relations that get members the best deals, http://www.InspectorMALL.com later and I don't hear much laughing anymore. --I recall you laughing about NACHI one day having its own E&O insurance discount online portal, http://www.nachi.org/eo.htm later and I don't hear much laughing anymore. --I recall you laughing about NACHI one day giving free websites to every member, http://www.inspectorpages.com later and I don't hear much laughing anymore. --I recall you laughing about NACHI one day doing more than all other orgs combined, http://www.nachi.org/whats_new.htm later and I don't hear much laughing anymore. I can go on and on of course but are you really sure it is wise to laugh publicly about NACHI or anything we are working on? Face it, you had a 20 year head start.... and lost. Hi Nick.. Haven't heard from you in a while.
Good to hear from you. I don't recall laughing about all the BS you posted. Everthing you claim to be exclusive to your newby naive wannabes is available to any inspector that belongs to ASHI or any other professional HI org. with out being subjected to being embarrassed by being a member of your dictator ruled org. The only thing I recall laughing about and still am, is how naive By the way, while I have your attention, </IMG></IMG></IMG></IMG></IMG></IMG></IMG></IMG></IMG></IMG></IMG></IMG></IMG></IMG></IMG></IMG></IMG> |

Dan, Post one more nice quote about the race car or REAL Property Times, like you did in the past for all the projects we completed (see my above post). When I announce their completion I will also include your quote about them from tonight. I have some great quotes from some of my own doubting members but I'd rather use yours. You have such a great track record and you don't seem the least embarrassed about all the many times before you laughed at our works in progress... only to watch them come to fruition. So please, give me a good one... something like "you'll never bla bla bla..." I would love to use it eventually.

Oh I'm sure I can come up with quite a few, a couple others that come to mind, nachi international, cmi, horror houses all across the country at every major city.
I understand that you are liquidating some of your assets like the CMI, NACHO Internatonal. Whats going on with that. Cont Ed.. Thats great if it has any value. You never have, and never will see bash good CE, from what I've heard and seen on chapter ads, your idea of CE is paying 35.00 to get a nachi sticker and to have dinner with you. Hopefully members like Gerry and others that are experienced in the profession will change that as good professionally presented CE helps all in the profession. Insurance... No Thanks...Thats good if an inspector wants to commit him or herself to your dictatorship and continue to pay you 289.00 plus the insurance premium. Find an inspector... No thanks, INIHA, other locator's that are less than nachi membership dues and customer referrals due to providing a professional service will always be more effective. Record breaking numbers of posts etc. Thats impressive until you read the topics, topics that help the inspector get 1 post to every 10 garbage posts with content of members bashing, suing each other and bashing other inspectors that refuse to drink your kool aid. If your proud of that I guess thats a good thing. Others that view that garbage believe it only gives a bad impression of our profession to the public that reads the BS. </IMG></IMG></IMG></IMG></IMG></IMG></IMG> |

Dang Dan, only 3 complaints that we are not progressing on these 3 projects? Could you be right? Maybe I'm all B.S. and no action. Let's investigate each of the 3...
1. InterNACHI project: I signed over the Board of Directors of InterNACHI to others at NACHI and it has been doing much already. I announced this on the message board some time ago. I no longer have any control over InterNACHI. So much for that dictatorship accusation. Strike ONE! 2. House of Horrors project: We have a Commercial building of Horrors we're working on: http://www.nachi.org/commercialfurnaces2006.htm I posted that link only a couple days ago. And the Residential House of Horrors already had a couple classes go through it: http://www.nachi.org/houseofhorrors12006.htm Strike TWO! 3. CMI: I formed a Master Inspector Certification Board in January for the purpose of handling Certified Master Inspector http://www.nachi.org/micb2006.htm, and last night put up and started building its website: http://www.certifiedmasterinspector.org Strike THREE! dan... you're out. I suppose when you strike out you laugh too? Nick Gromicko, Certified Master Inspector Find a Home Inspector "Just as iron sharpens iron, one man sharpens another."
