| Inspection Education & Training This is a general forum for inspectors to discuss their educational experience, and to ask questions of InterNACHI's Education Committee. This forum is dedicated to the memory of InterNACHI member and educator Gerry Beaumont. Gerry was an avid proponent of education for inspectors and will be sorely missed. |

I was watching the video today on mold testing and noticed what I believe to be a contradiction.
In the video Ben says that when performing a limited mold inspection (crawlspace) he would take air samples etc. in the crawlspace. The text based course however states the following: 2.5.6.3.4 Location • An indoor air sampling should take place only in a livable space in the building. Sampling in areas such as closets, under-floor crawlspaces, unfinished attics, storage or utility rooms, or inside the HVAC system is prohibited. I'm confused by this. Are air samples prohibited in the crawlspace or not? Vince Santos
