Inspection Education & Training This is a general forum for inspectors to discuss their educational experience, and to ask questions of InterNACHI's Education Committee. This forum is dedicated to the memory of InterNACHI member and educator Gerry Beaumont. Gerry was an avid proponent of education for inspectors and will be sorely missed.

Default New York City meeting?

Nick, I know about these meetings in Bohemia, N.Y. but thats like 75 miles from the city with heavy traffic in between. Are there any meetings planned in the near future in the metro area?

Lou - Take the LIRR to Ronkonkoma. I'm sure someone will pick you up.

Alternately, why not start a Manhattan Chapter? I'll come up on NJ Transit to speak.

Hi! Lou;
#1 it's not 75 miles, only about 35 from the city line, where you are maybe 55/60.
As far as starting a chapter GREAT! if I can be of any help just let me know but be prepared to put time and effort into it. Just like our meeting on the 28th of this month, everyone want's a meeting but after you book a room and all the other stuff and you ask to be RSVP'd only a small amount respond and that's with over a 100 member's.
Like I said if you need help let me know.
Len

Mr. Ungar,

AMEN to that. A lot of work. Organizational skills are a huge plus. Mr. Ungar would be someone you should rely upon heavily. He manages one of the most successful chapters associated with NACHI.
