| Inspection Education & Training This is a general forum for inspectors to discuss their educational experience, and to ask questions of InterNACHI's Education Committee. This forum is dedicated to the memory of InterNACHI member and educator Gerry Beaumont. Gerry was an avid proponent of education for inspectors and will be sorely missed. |

Jeff Hooper writes "Why not just call us over their InspectionN@gg%rNews"
Wow! Well, I've fought long and hard to keep this a free speech message board... I guess it has to be free for the Nazi defenders like Jeff as well. The price we pay for freedom. Something tells me that Mr. Hooper is going to be waking up, tomorrow, with his shaved head hurting him...wishing he had skipped that second bottle of Mogan David 20/20 before he typed his farewell.

Thats typical nickifor math... it's the same way he accounts for his almost 9,000 members.. funny thing is when he claimed he deleted 800 members a few weeks ago, prior to deleting those 800 his count was was almost 8,000 members, two weeks latter it grew to almost 9,000 if the truth was know nachi membership #s are most likley less that nahis Last edited by dharris; 8/30/06 at 12:21 AM.. |

Dan,
I can explain that one. Our recent Deadwood project, where we contacted every member who hasn't emailed us, requested something, renewed, or made a post in 6 months caused the deletion of over 1,600 members, not 800. You can ask staff yourself. We went through the entire membership list. The reason our membership numbers haven't noticibly declined is because new members kept joining during that period... so we recovered quickly and are back close to 9,000 again. See http://www.nachi.org/memberstats.htm We had 11 join just today. I believe (correct me if I'm wrong, I know you will) that NACHI is the only trade association that lists every single member, every single way possible so that no one would be stupid enough to say our membership is as low as NAHI's (ooops, too late.... you were stupid enough). Other associations limit their membership searches to ambiguous geographic ones, to hide their weak membership numbers. Anyway, here is everything to once again show you are wrong: 1. Our live EKG shows a daily analysis of new members and renewals: http://www.nachi.org/memberstats.htm 2. Our live map from the NACHI satellite shows member distribution: http://www.nachi.org/nachi_north_america.htm 3. The message board userlist shows a live display of who is a user, who is a member, and when they joined: http://www.nachi.org/forum/memberlis...&sort=joindate 4. This members-only page shows a live state/province breakdown: http://www.nachi.org/nachi-stats.htm 5. You can search geographically in www.InspectorSEEK.com www.InspectorLocator.com or www.FindanInspector.us 6. And finally, you can actually count them up, member by member alphabetically: http://www.nachi.org/memberlist.htm Dan, aren't you embarrased about constantly being wrong so often? .... and worse... being proved wrong so dramatically with overwhelming evidence? If I were publicly proved wrong so many times I'd probably suffer from ED. Nick Gromicko, Certified Master Inspector Find a Home Inspector "Just as iron sharpens iron, one man sharpens another." P.S. Every link I posted is live (live stats). If someone joins, quits, posts, or renews.... all those links I posted above change instantly.

I found one more link as additinal proof.... it appears our old archived message board (the one Commandant Hoopenstinker forgot about) is still busy recording every new member: http://www.nachi.org/bbsystem/member...SC&start=12630

Well I'll be... gotta admit I learned something new from ole nickey today .. I never had a clue a person could suffer from ED by counting and reading between the lines.. I was always under the impression signs included middle age males bragging about getting new corvettes, insisting on posing and getting their picture taken with pretty young women and exaggerating the size of things when using a tape measure. </IMG></IMG></IMG></IMG></IMG></IMG></IMG></IMG> |

He is extremely jealous of NICK,NACHI, AND how all the NACHI members get along so well with each other. We can have a disagreement and move on , this unfortunately is some thing MR.Harris does not have , " The ability to get over it and move on ". Life is so short to have only one fixation that dogs you all the time . I think a good way for him to improve is to join NACHI get in on conversations on how to help all other home inspectors and enjoy the ride . It is so nice to go with the flow and see all the good things that go on at NACHI and he is missing out on them . Life is so short why miss out on the enjoyment . You are right, I'll admit it. I'm the poster child for guys suffering from mid-life crisis. I'm knee deep in it... but loving it.
