NYS Approved Home Inspector Continuing Education is mandatory for each Home Inspector, Licensed in New York State, before he/she renews their license. NYS issues an approval code to verify that the course is approved for Home Inspection CEU Credit. The courses will start with the Letter "L". All licensees must complete 24 hours of continuing education BEFORE YOU RENEW WITH NYS! NO EXCEPTIONS !

Home Inspectors need 24 hours of Approved Continuing Education every 2 years in NYS
The courses below are NYS Approved and meet your educational requirements for the 24 hours Appraiser Continuing Ed.

  • This course is NYS Approved for 7 Hours of Home Inspection Continuing Education credit. It also identifies and discusses the use of an Infrared Camera during a Home Inspection. What are the advantages of a camera? What can a camera do, which the trained eyes of a home inspector may not see. Heat, moisture, air infiltration, etc. are discussed in depth.
  • 10/9/09: MOLD, MOISTURE &THE RESIDENTIAL HOME 4 HOURS 8-12 NOON…”Includes Mold Manual”………. $ 95.00
  • A introductory course on Mold and Moisture in the Residential Home, and how to perform Mold Sampling when in a residential home
  • 10/9/09: HUD FHA INSPECTION COURSE 4 HOURS 1-5PM………… “Includes HUD/FHA Manual”……...……….. $ 95.00
  • A introductory course on understanding how to complete a US Dept. of HUD “FHA” Inspections and how they may differ from traditional inspections
