I'm not sure how many Chapters or individuals have taken advantage of this offer. I know when it first came out, several person put their name on a list to get the materials.

Maybe Nick can help us out here.
As of Friday, no one has taken advantage of this fabulous offer.

Looks as though the materials which I sent Saturday will be the first.

I've sent over 100 pages to create the publication. Included were several PSA'S, information from the State of Illinois, HUD, the Chicago Chapter, and a full page ad for myself, as no one else in Chicago seems to want to invest the time and effort required to put it together.

(It takes 32, 8 1/2 x 11 sheets for 16 pages of newspaper).

When it gets formatted for use in the publication, feel free to use whatever materials you may want for your own, or your Chapter's publication.

Thank You for this information, I may not be part of the state Educational Administrators / Representatives Only, but I keep an eye on this thread for information like this. If you don't mind could I receive a copy of some of your PSA's that I could tweak for my area? Just something to get me started for my local "Welcome Home" paper.

Resigination / Retracted

I have made a decision to stand up, with support, against those who would cause NACHI disgrace.

I had tried to avoid any continued friction within NACHI by resigning, but I now realize, that's the easy way out.

Thank you for your understanding.

I don't understand why Russ would resign as he is a valuable member of this organization. I hope he will reconsider.

I am taking my position of Washington State Educational Administrator off of reserve and into active status as it was done under duress and I wish to become active in this position again.

Thank you,
Wendy

That is totally understandable. I hope that things will get better for him as he prioritizes things and finds some rest.

Sometimes the most valuable people in an organization are the ones who are the most overdrawn upon and overworked.

He and his family, as well as all of you, are in my prayers.

God bless,
Wendy

Under duress? What does that mean? Were you forced to give up the position?

I ask you please disregard Mr. Decker's post on this site.

Mr. Decker has no business posting here.

He, and others like him, are the reason for my resigination. Not from being overworked, but the continous turmoil he and others seem to thrive in. Always causing friction, and putting their noses in where it is not needed or wanted.

Mr. Decker would do well to keep his two cents to himself.

Russ,

You have hit the nail on the head!!! It's people like Decker who constantly cause these issues, who believe to themselves to be serving everyone elses agendas. It is sad that we have the same individuals who are constantly the "stumbling blocks" of our great organization.

I hate to see this happen, and ask that you reconsider your resignation. Don't let this idiot and his coherts get to you. They simply are not worth it. I, myself, have chosen not to even converse with this group, as it would just serve to get my blood pressure up to a boiling point, and they don't have the intelligence to understand what i'd say anyway.

Bottom line is this: This organization needs more people like you, and ALOT LESS like Decker. If you go, it's one less of the good guys to fight off this inrush of idiocy portrayed by the likes of Decker, Shwartz, and others.

I was hoping if I ignored them, they'd go away--it worked in elementary school, so I figured it would fit their mentality. I was sadly wrong, they just keep popping up.

How about we have Nick give them a "position", and they'll stay out of our way. That would make their day, as their main goal is to surgically attach their lips to Nick's *ss anyway. They just haven't quite figured out that Nick is not driven by the amount of saliva on his rear side.......what's it gonna take???????

Hi all,

I think that the educational reps should have a private chat room
or something like that.

I am not, and will not take sides within any personal arguments or issues between people here and don't like to contribute fuel to any fires, BUT, CAN WE PLEASE KEEP THIS THREAD ON IT'S INTENDED PURPOSE AND NOT HAVE ANY OF THE RIDICULOUS BICKERING HERE! Sorry for yelling, but it would be nice to have at least one thread that can stay professional and serve it's purpose.

To All Of The Education Reps,

I apologize for getting off topic, and posting so unprofessionally. I just can't see us moving forward in a positive manner until we can get these other issues resolved.

We definitely need our own area, where only we can access. That may have even helped in the situation with losing Russ.

And, it now appears as though we need an ED. However, the next one will probably find the same fate, as the people who post the most on this MB are the ones mostly responsible for the turmoil, which inadvertantly causes us to lose the members who we need, or causes us to lose their interest.

If some of our members don't have a leadership position, or some level of involvement, I think they feel unwanted. I believe this is the reason they have to constantly stir the pot.

Maybe Nick can have an area developed for the EA's only, with passwords protection. That would at least keep others out of our threads.

I would hope that someone would take the initiative to have a heart to heart with those they feel are being disruptive and/or speak out of turn. Find some common ground and help them focus on where they best serve the organization and themselves. Rebuking people here or elsewhere doesn't help matters and pigeonholing people as particular "kind of person" leaves them little room to show up differently.
