It should have been placed in members only in the first place. I didn't realize it wasn't private until everyone and their brother started posting. Threads can be locked in these systems without going into Member's Only.

You are correct, sir.

Home inspectors are attending courses to learn how to better inspect homes and report better on their inspections.

Someone with an accumulation of relevant facts and the skill (or gift) of communicating those facts to others is a valuable asset to us. We are not as impressed with credentials as we are with new, relevant, and reliable information.

Just as a home inspector, himself, is a generalist - it does not bother us to find that our instructors are knowledgeable in more than one subject as well. Gerry Beaumont, Bob Brown, Joe Farsetta, Helen Jeffrey, and others are valuable to us - and while all of them have volumes of information and countless hours of experience in sharing it with home inspectors - not a one could knock you over with a suitcase full of credentials. (Perhaps I error in this, and perhaps one or two of them could, but they don't try to).
