Test Scoring

Can anyone explain the math to me…?

I just completed the commercial course. The final test had 20 questions. My score was a 96.

How does that work? If I missed one question, wouldn’t my score be a 95. I’m not complaining, I’m more than pleased with a 96 but how does the math work out to any percentage other than one ending in a 0 or a 5?

I’m not for sure but maybe some questions have more or less value placed on them than others. For instance, a safety issue would have more value than missing insulation.

That would make sense. Thanks.
