During the exterior portion of one of my home inspections I came across this wood door. It was a door to an attached shed that was completely rotted. I used a screwdriver to pick at it and noticed some galleries probably from old termite damage. Upon further inspection of the wood below the door and the ground I found active Subterranean Termites.
Looks to me like a Formosa termite infestation… They are known to eat vinyl siding as well!
