Kind of tricky to tell. I had to realy look to see where the filter went. You also have to keep in mind that this furnace is in a manufactured home, which get their conbustion air from ************. Not going to say, that would give it away to most.

Hi to all,

Jason, I don't think its that hard to tell, without giving away the answer, take a good look at the fan housing.

Gerry

That looks like a typical Florida air handler. I really like the tight fit.

My understanding is that manufactured homes usually use down-draft furnaces, because they are located on the main floor with the hvac ducts running beneath the floor. (no basement)

An A/C coil over the electrical elements? What happens in the event the drip pan drain becomes clogged, not to mention secondary drain, if there is one. Water and electricity do they mix?

Hi to all,

The correct answer the question is:

Down-draft

The fan housing is the real give away here, as it is not possible for that fan in that location to blow upwards.

Regards

Gerry
