That was a good QOD. I wounder why so many gave the incorrect answer?

When I stated:

Quote:
Kind of tricky to tell. I had to realy look to see where the filter went. You also have to keep in mind that this furnace is in a manufactured home, which get their conbustion air from ************. Not going to say, that would give it away to most.
The "**********" is "the room". The air comes in through the front into the upper chamber, through the missing air filter at the top, down through the coils &/or the heat exchanger, past the fan down through the floor to the fest of the home.

What gave it away for me was the electrical elements where at the bottom, and most mobile homes I have inspected have always been down draft. For awhile more had chosen downdraft.

Paul,

It already DOES snow in Hawaii! http://www.skihawaii.com
It's okay. I was born and raised there - I never knew until a couple years before I moved away...

The fan housing is the real give away here, as it is not possible for that fan in that location to blow upwards.
Maybe if we reversed the wiring?

How can you rewire it? You would have to change the slats in the blower first.

Just pull the outlet cover, reverse the hot and neutral, and you're on your way.

To where, I don't know.
Maybe to the fridge for a margarita?
