I visited many inspector websites and want to know what is involved in a home maintenence inspection ? It is directed toward owners right? Thx for any replies I get.

Yes, its for the owners, I don't do these unless they want a complete inspection. Too much liability for not doing the entire crawlspace even if they don't want it. The reason is that they do not understand the high possibility of major floor system rot.
I think these are bad for the industry if the inspector just walks around the exterior entering data and leaves out the crawlspace, attic and electrical panels including disconnects.
