Your buddy dharris I am sure is having a field day with this now. The only reason I come to this site is for entertainment, and I have a field day everyday. I'm just confused with Nickey's math. Just after posting that 100 members were deleted the membership number grew by 100. The other thing that confuses me is nick claims that 99% nacho members renew. Hmmm. Lets see, over 30% of AZ members are no longer certified or their phone is disconnected. How does one claim a 99% renewal rate when AZ alone has over 30% that didn't renew their state lic.or have a disconnected phone.? Is Arizona the only state where nacho members don't succeed?? Add in the fact that over 80% of nacho members are new to the business and the national average of business failure is over 80% for the 1st 2-3 years. Oh well maybe, [ maybe not Last edited by dharris; 6/6/06 at 10:41 PM. |

Not that I respect you even a little, but you raise an interesting point.
The publicly posted figures from 2004 seem to verify the suspicion that the tracking of renewals may be inaccurate, or including many who did not pay dues. NACHI claimed over 4,094 members on the tax form (estimated forms - actual forms have yet to be posted), yet only enough income (at $289 each) to total 2,659 fully paid members. Apparantly the explanation is that this is due to some internal bookkeeping or procedural problem. But 35% of memberships unpaid seems to me to indicate that there is at least a legitimate question about the accuracy of the membership totals. |
