Hi Michael,

Since you're asking under Ask Dominic, I'll assume you're asking me.

Since I have my own software company I'm obviously speaking from a different vantage point. I think report host is great for guys just starting out who don't know how many inspections they are going to do. They also are increasing to $6 a month Jan 1. We've had quite a few inspectors switch from report host once they hit about 5-10 inspections a month. You can ask Gary Mann or some of the other InterNACHI members on here what they think after they've switched. Doesn't make much financial sense to spent $60 (Gary spent over $100 the month he switched to our software) a month when you can have a permanent program for $349 right now (christmas special )

Reporthost is good if you are only doing two or three inspections a month.
Its going up to $6.00 the first of the year. I could have paid for Home Inspector Pros software four time for what I have paid reporthost. And the best thing is I don't have to resize my photo's. What a time saver. What got me was when I had a client needing his report asap and reporthost was have trouble uploading my pictures. 4 hours to fix the problem. No phone number to call anyone just email. Custom service means a lot to me and my clients. If the Internet is down you are also.That was the last time for me. HIP is a lot easier to make your on templates that reporthost. You have more control over your report. And it saves you money.

The other night he spent a large chunk of time with me trying to help resolve a non HIP issue. Even though we were unable to resolve the issue and I had to contact the manufacturer the next morning, he tried hard.
This is a man who goes beyond the call of duty.
