before you buy the software, check out QuickBooks online. It is great. There is a monthly fee, but you never have to upgrade. You do your books online, from any computer. If you have a CPA or accountant, they can have a login to you books. You don't need to e-mail copies of your database back and forth, and it is always backed up off site.

I just had last years taxes done. Just print out annual reports and sit down with the CPA to complete the filing. She noted that most people don't even have the sense to bring a balance sheet.

Ed Bancroft,
I hope you can answer a question that I have had for a long time. First of all what reporting software do you use & does it link to Quickbooks Pro so that you don't have to double enter info. I want to buy a 2010 version of QB but I want it to link to my reporting software.
I am currently using Palm Tech.
