I purchased the electrical videos from this site and they are well done and don't include any code references, although the comments are what is required by the NEC.

For the price, they are worth while, only one issue clean your fingernails when performing inspections in a home, wear safety PPE, and don't call a Lamp holder (key less or pull chain) a fixture!
