Hi to all,

as businesses change hands there is often a glitch during the handover, all I can say is that I know the ESP guys very well and that they are committed to Porter Valley and its continuing success, as many of you know I use the PV inspectvue and also the Commercial reporting system and when I needed support yesterday (User idiocy as usual) I got what I needed quickly.

Regards

Gerry

Yes, Lorne is back. Maybe a little advance vacation notice would be prudent.

Jim .... My old friend..... PLEASE ..... Take a break!

You are saying that Porter Valley software is a "low Quality and unreliable" software and you have NOTHING to base that statement on but this small thread.

Why trash out NACHI? Why trash out Porter Valley?

PLEASE....... take a break from your daily rants!

Michael,
The company was known before as FormExpress when they were on the Newton where the competed with us on the same device over 10 years ago. When Apple killed the Newton they went over to the Pest Control Market exclusively while we switched over to the Windows CE devices and stayed in the home inspection market. They developed software for the PCO market for about 5 years or so and have just recently reentered the home inspection market the last couple years. It is a PC based app on a tablet now.

No, sir. That is not what I am saying and you have misrepresented my post.

What I said is ... with the understanding that InterNACHI has been requiring that vendors pay-to-play prior to the more visible plan ... one is left to guess whether all of the hype for a previous vendor actually had to do with his merit or was a result of his willingness to pay.

Without a direct reflection upon P-V (a company who, IMO, marketed itself by exploiting fear), I am simply saying that there is no way for one to know for sure, either way. I had already, in response to Richard M., adressed the premature nature of the use of the term "rip off".
