Default Reference guides for Codes?

I was wondering if anyone is aware of any reference guides that might exist for the dates/yrs. that certain codes went into affect ie. afci 2002, gfci for ext. gar. and baths 1978 and so on same with plumbing, saftey, hvac, structure, everything.

Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks,

Mike

Hi Mike,

to the best of my knowledge there is no such resourse available. The only timeline of required components that I know of is the GFCI sheet put together by Jerry Peck and the late Norm Sage.

(included for those who don't have it)

Gerry

Check this site out also. Doesn't list a time line but it is one of the only sources on the internet (that I know of) for a compiled listing of links to state, county, city, township, etc. building codes in all 50 states.
