My point being Raymond is - ultimately the "directors" of the said corporation are responsible for the financials. Members have a right to either, bit.., complain or accept the financials. But once approved at the AGM, that's still fully the responsibility of the directors of the corporation.

Am I reading Claude's post correctly Lets just sweep in under the rug and forget about it .
Or There are not many NACHI members who should be concerned . What a poor idea this is what has caused these concerns and the do nothing attitude is wrong . Or is there a lot more to this then we realize and some one wants these questions to stop . Some how I keep getting a very foul taste and I wonder why. Avoid, intimidation, ignore and now stop. Strange how Claude keeps making different posts. What am I missing???????? Need help on inspection call my cell 613-827-2011 I like email Roycooke@hotmail.com Never wrestle with a pig (however titled) as you just get dirty and the pig has all the fun. |

Please Note:
Wand Raymond is a non-member guest and is in no way affiliated with InterNACHI or its members.
Fiduciary duty, due diligence, GAAP, funds not accounted for, an ignorant membership, the fact remains that just because members approve something does not mean it is above board, you should know that, look at OAHI as an example.
Its unfortunate that because of the constant release of false information by some of your players it taints everything else and it can be expected to be looked at with a jaundiced eye. If the matter ever get to a courtroom rest assured if you have nothing to hide you have nothing to fear. However I would be remiss not to point out that once the respondents take the stand they won't have much choice other than to be truthful and there will be no opportunities to vouch for one another. |

We have already established at one Oahi AGM that the auditors were wrong and admitted so about CAHPI financials and issued a correction when they were questioned on it (deferred revenue). The auditors did an amend and re-issued their prior audited statements, more than once and as a result a small part of the CAHPI financial information was eventually disclosed in the Oahi financial statements which was essentially meaningless.. It is also very noteworthy how quickly the board at the AGM was overly anxious to stop the questioning about the finances. And after the AGM the accountant of record ran out into the parking lot to correct in front of me and a couple of other members that he was wrong. Hmmmm. The real answers reside in a full audit by an outside accounting firm. This is not going to happen for obvious reasons because I firmly believe as others it will not paint a very flattering picture of the management and the lack of fiduciary responsibility. |

Claude, Raymond is right. A third party audit must be done and sooner than later.
1# There are accounting errors to the tune of $60.000 2# From one specific stream or source deducted for the government.. A third party audit must be done Claude. This is not a joke or a game. 1# That source of revenue must be found and the monies accounted for. That's all. 2# Guilty party resign, and or if this done in contempt of the law the guilty party name be given to the authorities. There is no question or argument to make Claude. montrealbuildinginspectionservice.com montreal-home-inspection-services.com home-inspections-montreal.com homeinspectionsservicesmontreal.com ROBERT YOUNG'S MONTREAL HOME INSPECTION SERVICE INC.
