Like it or not, vendors are a big part of our industry.

Are you not a vendor in that you sell your services? Do you not carry a flashlight?
Vendors are important...but when vending is ALL that the association offers, the association becomes a vending machine, and nothing more.

Will you admit that there are issues that affect home inspectors in various areas of the country that "vending" cannot sufficiently address? For those of us who need the backing of an association...the vending machine is empty.

Yes, I admit it.

Will you admit that your first statement is incorrect and that vending is not anywhere near ALL we have to offer.

You are confusing www.InspectorMALL.com with www.nachi.org/benefits.htm

Yes. I will correct that.

NACHI's offerings are many and not all are provided by its vendors.

Not to thread jack this post but in some cases ethnic investors choose an ethnic inspector that they feel comfortable with and in these cases English is NOT necessarily the desired language. (many of these inspectors have quite a client base too)

For those who offered the OP help (per his request) I thank you, we are in fact the most helpful inspection association going and it is called "international" for a reason.

Just my opinion.
