Default BC Government consultation on home inspectors

To home inspectors in British Columbia:

The Ministry of Public Safety and Solicitor General is inviting British Columbia home inspectors to participate in a consultation on licensing home inspectors. The consultation provides an opportunity for home inspectors, consumers and others to be part of the process of developing appropriate regulations to enhance consumer protection.

The Consultation Paper and Questionnaire can be viewed at
http://www.pssg.gov.bc.ca/legislation/current.htm

Please send your response by February 22, 2008.

Thank you for taking the time to provide your input.

Question 12.
Should insurance be required? What amount of insurance should be required?

Yes I think home inspectors should have their liability capped to a maximum of $500K.
