NACHI's Convention in Toronto is already the largest inspection event in history. There is so much to do. If you don't want to listen to Bill, then don't.

No information given to the non CAHPI members . Told that first come first served for the Pier review .
I put in My name and money for myself and Raymond . I know we were first as I live in Brighton where the Secretary for CAHPI lived .
Applications for the certification was posted at 11;00 am and I was in the Post office shortly after lunch with our applications and money .
CAHPI had not picked up their mail and My envelope was first for sure .
I was not excepted .
Calgary was the CAHPI conference and we were told the big announcement would come down .
No information has been released to the Non CAHPI members .
We have no idea of what % was CAHPI and % non CAHPI. No idea of the amount or break down . The story was you can trust us .
Trust has never worked with them before why should we think it would now .
This is exactly how things have gone for a few years . Co-operation has been a one way street .
Twice Bill M asked to have things put on the NACHI site and I did it both times.
Claude L I understand is a NACHI member and on our education committee he is also on the CAHPI certification committee .
Sort of convent he gets to know all about NACHI and gives us little in return.

That choice is yours to make but be sure you can live with the consequences of being in this association ( please carefully re-read my remark about being known by one's lieutenants). I guess my standards of "friendship" are a little higher than those to which you seem to subscribe.

CAHPI is a private group, not a govenment entity. They have no duty to inform you of anything. No duty to be fair to you. And Bill certainly has no duty to speak at our convention.

If you had a small local chapter that was planning on doing group marketing, would you feel obligated to inform all the local non-members of your plans?

You are holding CAHPI, a private trade association with several hundred members, up next to government agencies and 10,000 member NACHI and complaining that they aren't either.... of course they aren't.

I have more pages on the National Certification .
Been there listened to his presentation before .
I have know Bill for Many more years the most NACHI members .
Bill was one who helped me big time when I first started .
I never said I would not be there.
I still feel Bill and his secret Group are only in it for their own gain . Would loved to be proven wrong.
I wonder if you and others would feel the same if you had been called a FXXXING liar too.

Again, alot of this IMHO comes from the misconception that CAHPI is something more than a small to midsized private group. They aren't.

This is very similar to the way our members hold InspectionNAZInews up to NACHI and complain that threads on their message board are deleted and/or that not everyone is allowed to post and/or that their site is cluttered with paid ads, etc. Of course it is! Their site is a for-profit company.

What I'm trying to say is that some of your complaints are unfair in that you are expecting CAHPI to act like the world's largest home inspection association or act like a government authority. CAHPI has a duty to its members... that's it.

Please Understand I never said I would not be there .
I have been from the get go a strong supporter on NACHI ,
Not for a second have I ever wavered.
I just want what is best for all Canadian Home Inspectors .
I can take a disagreement and get over it in a heart beat.

But when Bill Mullen has told and continues to ridicule me and say how I cheated so many times he has other who follow him thinking I am a liar and a cheat for such a long time on a continuing basis why should I expect him too now tell the truth.
The end from me you all know my thoughts and feeling to Bill Mullen .
I do hope that things work out for all Canadians .

I am happy and pleased to have NICK come to Canada and present NACHI to some of our Provincial leaders and expect this can be a good thing .

Try this: Strip away everything "personal" from your thinking. Strip away any bad dealings you had with CAHPI. Strip away any unfair expectations you have of them. What do you have left? A pretty decent association with a past President who is willing to tell us about a certification plan at our convention.

Sounds good to me.

An excellent candidate for OAHI? Give me a break. If I wanted to join OAHI I wouldn't be here at NACHI.

CAHPI/OAHI did not develop the NATIONAL CERTIFICATION PROGRAM.

I agree with you that they are a secret society and don't look at us [NACHI] favorably. But lets see what he has to say.
