Then to add insult to injury, NACHI members will have to pay $1,100 to get Nationally certified...unless they join CAHPI, pay their dues, jump through their hoops and pay only $500.

Why would Nick promote the demise of this association (NACHI)? Everyone will should be running to CAHPI to pay less for the National Certification. If it's such a great association in the first place. But alas, I thought that's everyone one was joining NACHI to begin with?

Even better why would anyone in Ontario join CAHPI only to be subjected to OAHI's brand of justice?

Will Nick buy down the fee from $1,100 to $500 for NACHI members?

No one attending the convention has to go to anything, and if you scroll down through www.nachi.org/convention2007.htm you will note that it is impossible to attend everything. We brought in a lot of speakers that will give you information that you can't get anywhere else and probably will never find an opportunity to get again: Information that you can't find online, courses that aren't basic 101, stuff to help you improve your business, and topics of strong interest (like Bill's). No one has a gun to anyone's head and there ain't a barbed wire fence around the convention.

Don't want to pay to do the CAHPI national certification thingie? Don't.

Don't want to become a CMI? Don't.

Don't want to buy an infrared camera? Don't.

Don't want to pay to come to NACHI's convention? Don't.

Don't want to offer mold testing? Don't.

Don't want to listen to my dumb talk on marketing? Don't.

They are all just options that may or may not be worth what they cost.
