Then there is the group that thinks that everything is a plot, usually somehow against them. That in itself could easily be resolved if people really wanted Nicks offer for a discussion with Bill to really work. It's very unfortunate for those that showed Bill respect.

Perhaps looking at the past even in the old archives not only provides a history lesson to this discussion, who keep questioning motives. It also provides clues to why things continually turn out going nowhere - it is because history keeps repeating itself - so in the end the commuincation never changes, nor does it seem that it will ever change.

It another opportunity lost!
Claude I guess you learned different things at school then I did.
To call a person a LIAR years ago was the same a slapping then in the face with a glove a challenge to a duel usually with pistol's .
That is just about the lowest thing you can say in my openion .
We all saw who laid down the first challenge and it was not any NACHI members.
It's the old story if you can't take the heat then stay out of the kitchen.
Mullen means "Pleasant " some how bill has some difficultly living up to his name

It was actually 14, I miscounted. However, I am not superstitious.

In the same vein as your posts, "I think you are just jealous because I have a green box, and yours is all grey and shriveled up. I know it looks green, but upon closer examination....."

Nick. You have to realize that people are driven off by this crap. Look how many people disappear year after year on this forum. Because you don't moderate crap like this, you allow fellow professionals to be trod underfoot, and you end up left with the nasty people you see here.

There's not much to be proud of here. Not much at all. If Bill did show up at the convention I'd be surprised, and if he was treated this way in public I would hope the dissenters would be kicked out of the convention.

How can anyone get down to serious business with all this ****e? Do you see any of this on other forums? If you do, what happens to them? They get kicked off. Chaos is nothing to be proud of. Having forum rules is not censorship, it's organization. Which is what this is supposed to be.
Wendy

Moderate? That's called censorship. Maybe you can handle it but I can't.

Wendy have you ever thought of moving to Cuba? With your beliefs about moderation.........well you would fit right in.

Will you be at our Convention?

Certainly from a history POV = people need to move forward, but do you see what keeps happening when people won't let go of the past!

BTW: It is not my job to inform him - I am quite sure he is as capable as anyone else of reading the post. Or (wink, wink) shall I make a deal to tell my people if you tell your people to tone it down. Wasn't one of your people the one badmouthing Wendy just a little while ago.

I'm the first one to defend Wendy when she is "Bad Mouthed".....but sometimes she sticks her nose where it doesn't belong.

"It does not start by trashing people."

Perhaps Bill should have been made aware of this golden rule some time ago while he was busy trashing N.A.C.H.I. and Nick.. Or are we the only ones who must be responsible for past indiscretions?

Nick, you need to be more selective in whom you call 'friend'.

You win Raymond. You can have the entire forum to yourself.

Nick, when you get rid of him I'll be happy to help your genuinely interested members. Until then, I have better things to do than subject myself to this crap.

If any NACHI members wish to ask me questions privately, please contact me at cahpi1@yahoo.ca.

Bill do you think this is some sort of game? It is not. You have a history of doing exactly what you are doing here. When the heat gets to heavy you stomp and complain, and make everyone out to be the problem but yourself. Now you are claiming its all my fault, but you sir were the one to called me a liar. Coming from you thats okay because I understand your mind set.

Did it ever occur to you that the only reason Nick asked you here was to do as exactly you have done, to show that you are incapable of discussing anything. You have given quite a show and now everyone has seen what a poor salesman you are and your ability to make yourself out to be the victim. Nice try, but it doesn't work that way here because unlike the Nazi Canuck list we are all free thinkers and we can associate with whom we like, and that bothers you to no end.

I liked the picture you posted on the CANUCK list of you, Mike Guihan and the CREA president. Nice photo!

Thanks Nick for your help, it was a clever move on your part to invite Bill.

Sorry about that, but if not Nick, who does own NACHI ??

I never did acknowledge the fact that you as well as Nick invited me to speak at the convention. Whether that turns out to be good or bad, thanks for the opportunity.

Just thought I'd pop in for a minute because you were here.

It sure does, Raymond. It says that even I can do something I shouldn't when my patience is pushed beyond the limits. I should not have said you lied and I apologize for saying that.

Bill, if it is any consolation, my friend Michael Rowan is suffering a lot worse over in MISC in his attempt to get CMI going.

Again, I'll be in the front row of your KeyNote address at our National Convention in Toronto in May. www.nachi.org/convention2007.htm

See ya then my friend.

Bill,

Try this link, it spells out a little history of NACHI and explains its non-ownership. Maybe it will clear things up a little in your mind.

John & Roy, That is EXACTLY the scenario I see playing out up here in Canada. I believe that CAHPI thinks they are going to be THE player in calling the shots and telling all of us what we can & can't do. It especially worries me that they have been slipping under the sheets so to speak, for the last 10 years with the gov't and CMHC. I beleive Nick is correct when he made the statement about the gov't not being born yesterday. They know most organizations that apply to get something started likely have the idea that they will be the main player in the game, but that is extremely unlikely to happen because they know they would have the other 12 (just a guess) organizations crawling up their butt and challenging that type of ruling in the courts. It would never stand.

My guess is they will look at ALL the organizations/associations SOPs and use the lowest standard as THE minimal requirements required and let the individual associations handle the licensing and certifications at the same time as membership status. I also believe that any existing/practicing home inspectors will be grandfathered in to avoid any overbearing court challenges and litigation.

NACHI is definitely going to have to send out letters to Real estate boards and offices across this county to inform them and give them the real facts about what has been taking place in our industry. Nick likes TV lately...I'm sure a nice blurb on a news channel here or there.....heck, might as well hit the National and get it over with at one crack.

Nick, just a little hint here,...when the little red light is on... the camera is rolling...thats not when to ask if your hair is OK See you tomorrow at the meeting.
