CAHPI web site Not yet

Please read the top right of the CAHPI web site below
This is the Association who feel they are the only ones to represent the Canadian Home inspector.
They have had a try at least 5 times this year to set up a WEB site .
This has been the way you see it, for a long time .
I wonder how much longer it will be before it is sort of functional .
I wonder should they see who NACHI gets to their web sites almost instantly.

Our OrganizationThe Canadian Association of Home & Property Inspectors® CAHPI®) is a national association, whose mission is to promote and develop the home inspection industry. CAHPI is considered the voice of Canada’s “home inspection industry”.
Home inspections began as a consumer service in the 1970’s and it soon became apparent that selecting a Home Inspector was becoming as important as selecting a qualified real estate professional, or even the right home.
To meet this need, the Canadian Association of Home Inspectors® (CAHI®) was formed in 1982. CAHI operated as the Canadian arm of the American Society of Home Inspectors® (ASHI®), until 1994, when several provincial/regional organizations formed CAHI National. In September 2002, the name of CAHI was changed to the Canadian Association of Home & Property Inspectors (CAHPI®)
The current Standards of Practice and Code of Ethics adopted by CAHPI are a derivation of the ASHI model. There are now seven (7) provincial/regional organizations, from coast to coast, with over 1,300 provincial members.
Our Canadian provincial/regional organizations include:
CAHPI – British Columbia
CAHPI – Alberta
CAHPI – Saskatchewan
CAHPI – Manitoba
CAHPI – Ontario
AIBQ – Quebec
CAHPI – Atlantic
Our seven (7) provincial/regional organizations are self-regulating professional bodies of home inspectors, whose members are finding that it is through educational and sharing of information via publications, meetings, educational seminars and conferences, that the profession of a home inspector is enhanced. Affiliation therefore and receiving their designation from a professional organization is the best evidence of an inspector’s competence and professionalism.
For membership and RHI designation requirements, visit the website of the province in which you reside.

And just how does this affect you, Roy? :-k

Norm

If it wasn’t for CAHPI he would have nothing to gripe about.

I wonder if you did a search on all of his post’s, how many of them would have the words CAHPI and/or OAHI in them?

Let’s take bets, I say at least 75%.

Jason,

lol, no doubt. Roy’s got a serious hard-on for anything CAHPI and OAHI. I bet if they used google analytics to determine who visits their site they’d find that the majority of repeat visits come from Brighton, Ontario.

Roy claims to be a happy NACHI member to keep his masters Nick and Ray happy, but his actions speak far louder than his words. He’s absolutely filled with envy over CAHPI and OAHI and secretly wishes he could be a member again. What he really needs is a team of psychiatrists working around the clock to straighten out his head.

You can say whatever you want Roy, but we all know the truth. Your jealousy for CAHPI and OAHI comes through in nine out of every ten posts you make.

Norm
