Come on! How can you say these guys are managing the economy. They cut taxes and increased spending with the result we have the highest deficit this country has even had. Look at the facts and ignore the propaganda.
It was the surplus and bank regulations that Harper inherited that has made our banks the best in the world.
Oh! One other thing those tax cuts! How much did you save?
I did not save a penny In fact my taxes increased from 2008 to 2009 and stayed the same from 2009 to 2010 calculated on the same income.
Bottom line I make my decisions on what they did not on their BS promises because they usually do not follow through with.

Roy......Roy.....Roy:

Why are you trying to expose someone else in a post to me? You think Mr G and I are close friends or something because we think similarly.....very poor reasoning and deduction on your part!!! I've seen that before.

If you need to have some posts created between myself and G, call Wanda.....she illegally created an identity in my name at OAHI!! And now claims I'm a member....her reasoning has failed miserably....me in Nova Scotia a member of OAHI.....for what reason??? LOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOL

No one is feeding me information. Where do you get that idea? For the last 7-8 weeks until the last few days I've been so busy I've barely been on the boards, let alone contact other HI's. You, Wanda and Nick may need to speak to each other daily for moral support........that's your problem!!

Brian

How could I possibly create an identity such as yours, and who would want to.

The fact remains Brian you are showing up as a member and that makes you a party to discriminatory practices, lack of accounting, and many other practices which are not on the up and up in OAHI.

I thought better of you!

When you attend the dinner parties I can only hope you sit between two people who are hard of hearing.

Well you have made me say it, You are with out a doubt a big Liar and you continue to post false information .
You just can not understand how to do things proper a parasite who seldom has any thing nice to say on the NACHI site .
You again are trying to show all you are an idiot .
I never said you and MR G are close friends in fact I wonder do you have any friends .
You have admitted you have received much infomation from Mr G .
Why don't do actually say who G is if you're calling me a liar; the person I am thinking about and I have had one short phone conversation and no more than 5 or 6 1-2 line posts over 3-4 years.......how can I receive "much information" that way?

Post my admission as you're claiming........ I believe you are wrong!!

BTW, I hope you, an electrician, didn't let any of that foam get into "outlet boxes" as part of your airsealing project.

Tell me how you would deal with someone illegally foaming electrical boxes. Do suppose simply talking to them will get them to use electricians to correct the problems in thousands of boxes already done???

So reporting someone creating fire hazards in electrical boxes in houses is bullying......definitely can't figure out your train of thought...or the lack of it is a better phrase.......all this from an electrician!!!

The idea is to vote with you intelligentsia.
To look at issues that the present governing power has accomplished.
You look at past achievements. You measure for truth and values.
So with petty name calling you demote your views and through lies and propaganda that you promote you show the contempt you have for the public that placed you in power and the laws that dictate how parliament shall run.
Anyone can go back far enough to find fault with a governing power .
You are to look at the past term for the proof you need to make selection.
Making sense here.
Its hard to give a politician credit when he has never been measured for value.
We have a government that was removed by the people for obstructing Parliament..
We have the past government still insinuating with lies, propaganda. and here say and trying to change parliamentary structure that has been in place for over 100 years..
Lets pray the people vote with the intelligentsia.

Canadian Politics

Jack Layton (NDP) met with the Queen of England.

He asked her, "Your Majesty, how do you run such an efficient government? Are there any tips you can give to me in case I form the next government?"

"Well," said the Queen, "the most important thing is to surround yourself with intelligent people."

Layton frowned, and then asked, "But how do I know if the people around me are really intelligent?"

The Queen took a sip of tea. "Oh, that's easy, you just ask them to answer an intelligent riddle".

The Queen pushed a button on her intercom.
"Please send Tony Blair in here, would you?"

Tony Blair walked into the room and said, "Yes, your majesty?"

The Queen smiled and said, "Answer me this please, Tony, your mother and father have a child. It is not your brother and it is not your sister.
Who is it?"

Without pausing for a moment, Tony Blair answered, "That would be me."

"Yes! Very good," said the Queen.

Layton went back home to ask Mike Ignatief, his Liberal cohort. "Answer this for me Iggy; Your mother and your father have a child. It's not your brother and it's not your sister. Who is it?"

"I'm not sure," said Iggy. "Let me get back to you on that one.." He went to his advisers and asked every one, but none could give him an answer.

Finally, he ended up in the men's room and recognized Steven Harper's shoes in the next stall.

Iggy asked Harper, "Hey Steve, can you answer this for me? Your mother and father have a child and it's not your brother or your sister. Who is it?"

Harper answered back, "That's easy you dummy, it's me!"

Iggy smiled, and said, "Thanks!" Then, he went back to speak with Layton.

"Say Jack, I did some research and I have the answer to that riddle.

It is Steven Harper."

Layton got mad and yelled "No you bloody idiot it is not! It's Tony Blair"!

AND THAT, MY FRIENDS, IS WHY WE ARE GOING BACK TO THE POLLS.

They say truth is stranger then fiction.
So what you are saying is that Iggy and Harpers parents and Blair and Laytons parents swapped their babies.

Now you get to see the true voters of the past government Vern.
They are as confused as the governing body that was just ejected by the dully elected opposition officials. The 3 party officials that represents the peoples vote 2 to 1.
But they still think it was a majority and ruled that way.
Now with all the scandals being investagated,Cllr Robert Fraser,Sebastien Togneri , Doug Finley I can go on. Wasn't that the reason they took power from the liberals.
Some fact not propaganda.
1#For the first five months of the 2008-09 fiscal year, the budgetary surplus is estimated at $1.2 billion, down $5.5 billion from the $6.6-billion surplus reported in the same period of 2007-08," said the report. "I'm comfortable with the fact that we will have a modest surplus this fiscal year."Says big spender Jinny F.
2#"They ratcheted up spending by 33-billion dollars per year since they came to office (and) they abolished the three billion dollar contingency reserve which was our insurance policy against going back into deficit," McCallum said.
3#The budget comes at a massive cost -- $85 billion in deficit over the next five years. The deficit in the 2009-2010 fiscal year will be a shade under $34 billion.
Lets not forget the planes at 40Bil. The jails at 14Bil. and the 11 bil. found in 3 weeks after the budget was just announced 3 weeks ago.
ARE YOU KIDDING THE CANADIAN PUBLIC.
Please do some reading instead of listening to propaganda.

Love it Roy.
Which ones Steve or first or or who's on Steve or whats on second.
I not even going to think about it. HA HA HA.
Great stuff.
I went to Man and His world, the comedy pavilion, almost every day with my good friend Brian. They had the Marx Brother, Of Abot and Costello, or the 3 Stogies playing daily. Along with a host of other vaudevillians that have endeared my heat and still make me laugh to this day. WOW!!!!!
Thanks...Robert

Default Re: The Canadian Government fell again?

THIS MAY BE A LITTLE SIMPLIFIED AND ONE SIDED BUT ESSENTIALLY GETS THE MESSAGE ACROSS:
A young woman was about to finish her first year of college. Like so many others her age, she considered herself to be very liberal, and among other liberal ideals, was very much in favor of higher taxes to support more government programs, in other words redistribution of wealth.

She was deeply ashamed that her father was a rather staunch conservative, a feeling she openly expressed. Based on the lectures that she had participated in, and the occasional chat with a professor, she felt that her father had for years harbored an evil, selfish desire to keep what he thought should be his.

One day she was challenging her father on his opposition to higher taxes on the rich and the need for more government programs.

The self-professed objectivity proclaimed by her professors had to be the truth and she indicated so to her father. He responded by asking how she was doing in school.

Taken aback, she answered rather haughtily that she had a 4.0 GPA, and let him know that it was tough to maintain, insisting that she was taking a very difficult course load and was constantly studying, which left her no time to go out and party like other people she knew. She didn't even have time for a boyfriend, and didn't really have many college friends because she spent all her time studying.

Her father listened and then asked, "How is your friend Audrey doing?" She replied, "Audrey is barely getting by. All she takes are easy classes, she never studies and she barely has a 2.0 GPA.

She is so popular on campus; college for ! her is a blast. She's always invited to all the parties and lots of times she doesn't even show up for classes because she's too hung over."

Her wise father asked his daughter, "Why don't you go to the Dean's office and ask him to deduct 1.0 off your GPA and give it to your friend who only has a 2.0. That way you will both have a 3.0 GPA and certainly that would be a fair and equal distribution of GPA."

The daughter, visibly shocked by her father's suggestion, angrily fired back, "That's a crazy idea, how would that be fair! I've worked really hard for my grades! I've invested a lot of time, and a lot of hard work! Audrey has done next to nothing toward her degree. She played while I worked my tail off!"

The father slowly smiled, winked and said gently, "Welcome to the conservative side of the fence."

If you ever wondered what side of the fence you sit on, this is a great test!

If a conservative doesn't like guns, he doesn't buy one.
If a liberal doesn't like guns, he wants all guns outlawed.

If a conservative is a
vegetarian, he doesn't eat meat.
If a liberal is a vegetarian, he wants all meat products banned for everyone.

If a conservative is down-and-out, he thinks about how to better his situation.
A liberal wonders who is going to take care of him.

If a conservative doesn't like a
talk show host, he switches channels.
Liberals demand that those they don't like be shut down.

If a conservative is a non-believer, he doesn't go to church.
A liberal non-believer wants any mention of God and religion silenced. (Unless it's a foreign religion, of course!)

If a conservative decides he needs health care, he goes about shopping for it, or may choose a job that provides it.
A liberal demands that the rest of us pay for his.

If a conservative reads this, he'll forward it so his friends can have a good laugh.
A liberal will delete it because he's "offended."

Well, I forwarded it to you.
