Canadian IR Camera cost

I have had some ask me about IR Cameras and why do they cost so much more in Canada.
Yesterday a HI told me he was quoted $6,500;00 .
This to me is far from fair when they are in the USA for about $4,500:00
I went to Canada Customs and was told no duties just the normal GST&PST Taxes.
If I was buying a IR Camera I would get it in the USA and they will send it( Example) Watertown UPS. Have it held for customer pick up and save a lot of money .
Any one wanting the import Numbers please send me email.
I paid $6500:00 and was promised a reduction in the level one course .
I did not get as good a price on the course as many others.
Took the course last Nov and still do not have my level one certificate.
