Is it my imagination, or are Bill and Claude the sole proponents of this NCP on this BB?

Yes they have been trying to Convince NICK and the NACHI members how great it is.
Well It has not happened .
Most NACHI members have said thanks but no thanks .
Many have asked how Many NACHI members took the NCA and this information has not been released.
I expect some might have who got in at the first when they gave the first 100 cost of only $50;00~.( My figure could be off )
I know not all who where excepted followed up with this offer .

Bill and Claude have been coming here for some time now extolling the virtues of the national and pretending that this fulfills the C.M.H.C.'s requirement to provide full disclosure to Canadian inspectors. Clearly it does not and headway is being made with the effort to show those in a position to withdraw support that this is a closed, and unequal club with no intention to involve the majority of Inspectors in what should have been a very democratic process.

That being said, we do enjoy their efforts!

This is very interesting. This might just be the reason why Mr. Sutherland said in a CAHPI Alberta meeting, on Feb. 8,9, that Alberta is way ahead of BC in licensing. "We are hoping that you (Alberta) get the licensing in first so we can learn from it." I think what he is saying is that he has nowhere to go and if there is another example he might be able to get licensing in BC. My question is why not look to the south. Our neighbors have many States that are licensed. Is it working? But the man that he is, his vision is limited with blinders. Only look to the east (NCP).

I like the Quote from John Les "regulation does not guarantee successful results". How true.

Maybe somebody can help me with this stat. There has only been 3 complaints in Alberta in the last _____ years. I have heard somewhere in the area of 3 to 6 years. Status Quo is looking very possible.

The question has come up about the amount of Inspectors taking the NCP. Fact - the NCP is growing. The reason - people are brain washed by CAHPI. I was there and saw through it. CHAPI charges big fees. Fees are about $400 a year plus meetings. (The 2 day conference in Edmonton Feb. 8 and 9 cost members about $300. We covered the same amount of material in the 1 day NACHI meeting in Edmonton for $35. I wonder who is non-profit.) Some people that I have talked with have told me "if they do not get there full RHI that will be kicked out of CHAPI and lose all there money". The next thing that CAHPI is telling there members is the NCP is going to be part of Legislation and once it is the fees will jump, so get on it. There was several people that would jump out of CHAPI but feel that some day the money invested will pay off. NOT GOING TO HAPPEN.

It was evident at this CHAPI meeting again that Brock is the right man for the job. He does not take sides.

Another note of interest is Bill Sutherland the President of CHAPI-BC is also the President of CHAPI National and dare I say has his fingers in the NCP.

The good guy does not always finish last. Go NACHI
