I have a daughter who is in Germany (my son-in-law is in the Canadian Air Force) for a few more years.
She was talking about her Clothes dryer . I though others would be interested in how they work , They are 50 Cycle in Europe. .......... Cookie http://ths.gardenweb.com/faq/lists/laundry/2004120958010854.html What is a 'condenser' dryer ??A condenser clothes dryer is a machine that looks just like a conventional tumble clothes dryer, but which does not require an external vent. For the user/owner, operation of both types of dryers is essentially the same - the difference is in the internal design. |

Good information Roy, did not know of such a dryer.
Sounds like the thing to use in colder climates, but does it come in 60 cycle? Thanks. Those who do not vent either have a loose home ar are looking to grow mould. No not available in 60 cycle so that they would need a motor change . I told her for our area to just buy a New dryer when she comes home. .. Cookie |

I just had one of those newer units a couple of months ago.
I recommended to watch the filter. ![]() Back to the BEARS |
