Make a list of all the stuff you get Charles, what ever is not on the list is the stuff you don't get. Quite simple really.

Actually, Obama got 52% and McCain got 46%. That's a decent spread for a presidential election.

'OK, George, no need to yell.'

NOT YELLING. CAPS KEY STUCK!

'Actually, Obama got 52% and McCain got 46%. That's a decent spread for a presidential election.'

A DECENT SPREAD YES BUT NOT A ' STRONG MAJORITY' NO MATTER HOW IT IS SPUN. LET'S TRY TO BE ACCURATE.

Obama won the popular vote by a six-point margin of 52 to 46 percent, earning a higher percentage of the overall vote than any Democrat since Johnson in 1964 (61.1 per cent).

WASHINGTON, DC — With record numbers of Americans casting ballots in Tuesday’s election, the first African-American President-elect won more votes than any candidate in United States history.

Read 'em and weep.

52 % wanted Obama, and that's ok, I sincerely hope he turns out to be great president. 46% wanted Mcain and the other 2% care enough to vote, just not enough to vote for a viable candidate. If it was this close the other way, as our election was here in Canada, liberals tell us "ya you won, but look how many didn't want ......" I am just afraid that Obama is too radically left for a country with so much opportunity. Wealth redistribution scares the daylights out of me, if you work hard, pay your taxes, bills etc. Get a nice lifestyle and someone on your street that can't get off his ***** to go to work, should we really have to give up part of our lifestyle so he can buy beer and watch movies all day. As a business owner this does not make any sense to me. It's not really a matter of liberals won - conservatives lost, what matters is what happens in the next 4 or 8 years and that they make the best decisions for you country

I did a gov pilot energy retrofit project with the poor last year and I believe 1 out of my 26 clients was in your description of the poor). As a business owner this does not make any sense to me. It's only a buzzword used over and over by the Republicans as they had no new ideas to bring forward!! They followed the GOP's recent agenda: get re-elected by playing on and heightening people's fears: keep guns in your home for personal protection......everyone else out there is ready to steal your stuff or hurt your family; if we don't create these foreign wars, the bad guys will be here (the neo-cons have had an imperialist agenda for a few years now.....the US has 450+ military bases in 192 foriegn countries.....remember: around the world, Canada has friends, the US has interests); the left wing is going to take all your money (a lady interviewed in Florida believed an Obama gov was going to take her retirement funds from her........sheesh, the greedy capitalists just stole a lot of her money in high salaries/bonuses/mismanagement and now her taxes are going to bail them out)

We already have wealth distribution going on: poor people already get all the services..... health, fire, school, police etc and pay very little of the taxes that pay for them. so what? The repugnant GOP tried to make Obama sound like he just read Karl Marx and was ready to transform the US to that man's ideas........How slow some people are!!!

I would if we could!! We have a jerk leader that only got 38% of the popular vote....at least yours got 52-53%, meaning that the majority got who they wanted!!
