Very opinionated and often short-tempered myself - I have started many controversial forum discussions about the good - the bad and the ugly in our industry. But I have never insulted anyone personally, because I resent personal attacks and vulgar name calling when I being challenged about my expressed opinions.

I think that uncontrolled outbursts are demonstrating lack of education and/or self-esteem, and that the exchange of obscenities is certainly not beneficial to improve the "professional" image of home inspectors. I suggest that all offensive messages be removed ASP.

Marcel, are you refering to the post where I returned the joke about America but turned it around? or where I expressed amazement at how fast the Canadian members flipped on Nachi because of an incident with one member? As far as Neighbors, after some of the post on this and other threads, I'm not sure they are neighbors. Well, good ones anyway.Believe it or not, i am not just trying to make trouble, but rather, get the Canadian members to think about what they are saying and doing. Do you believe all of the bad comments and jokes towards American members is productive at this time, or can you see how it might futher cause hard feelings, which is the deliberate intent of certain offended members on both sides. It looks like a playgroung fight, and it is doing nothing but making home inspectors look childish and unprofessional. IMO

that someone in Pakistan had advertised in a newspaper an offer of a

reward to anyone who killed a Canadian - any Canadian.


An Australian dentist wrote the following editorial to help define

what a Canadian is, so they would know one when they found one.


A Canadian can be English, or French, or Italian, Irish, German,

Spanish, Polish, Russian or Greek. A Canadian can be Mexican,

African, Indian, Chinese, Japanese, Korean, Australian, Iranian,

Asian, Arab, Pakistani or Afghan.


A Canadian may also be a Cree, Metis, Mohawk, Blackfoot, Sioux, or

one of the many other tribes known as native Canadians. A Canadian's

religious beliefs range from Christian, Jewish, Buddhist, Muslim,

Hindu or none. In fact, there are more Muslims in Canada than in

Afghanistan. The key difference is that in Canada they are free to

worship as each of them chooses. Whether they have a religion or no

religion, each Canadian ultimately answers only to God, not to the

government, or to armed thugs claiming to speak for the government

and for God.


A Canadian lives in one of the most prosperous lands in the history

of the world. The root of that prosperity can be found in the

Charter of Rights and Freedoms which recognize the right of each

person to the pursuit of happiness.


A Canadian is generous and Canadians have helped out just about
