Does Canada, like Colorado, require front & back license plates?

Every province is different Nick. Here in Nova Scotia, there's just the one plate.

In Florida you don't even need a plate, just a scrap of cardboard with some numbers on it duct taped in the back window.

In the most prestigious province of Canada, British Columbia requires 2 license plates.
