Would anyone know the insurance company that provides E & O insurance for home inspectors who have BCQ (building code qualified). I remember reading some one who quoted cheaper insurance if you had qualifications.

Depends on your scope of work - home inspection or code compliance inspections. Try Encon - out of Montreal - I understand it is the range of $3500 per year - but that is just for BCQ side of inspection.

Thanks for the reply Claude, but the person had quoted 2,000 per year if you were BCQ. I am hoping that is so

Sounds like a good deal, but it depends on the detail in the coverage.
