Examination Board of Professional Home Inspectors, an independent, nonprofit organization. EBPHI I told them that there query for info was less than satisfactory! Quote:

National Home Inspector Examination
Now you can register for the NHIE online! NHIE evaluates the technical and professional qualifications of home inspectors. It consists of questions covering topics derived from a formal role delineation study. Based on a survey completed by home inspectors, the study determines knowledge bases and skills necessary for competent practice in home inspection. Number of Questions: 200 Examination Price: $225.00 See a listing of Frequently Asked Questions about the exam. To take the National Home Inspector Examination, you will first need to create an account. Once you create an account, you will be assigned a user ID and password to take the test. If you already have an account, log in here. National Home Inspector Examination Sample Test This sample examination includes 50 multiple- choice questions that are representative of the questions on the National Home Inspector Examination. The content areas of this sample test are comparable to those of the actual examination, though the questions on the test will never appear on a future examination. Immediately after you take the sample test, you will receive your test score and diagnostic information on your areas of strength and weakness. You will then have an opportunity to review each question, along with the answer you gave and the correct answer. Number of Questions: 50 Examination Price: $50.00 To take the Sample Test, you will first need to create an account. Once you create an account, you will be assigned a user ID and password to take the test. If you already have an account, log in here. If you have an account, but have forgotten your password, you can receive your account information by e-mail. Strange for such an organization to send out an email and ask one to partake in completion with no pertinent info! I sent an email back to them, and deleted the survey. I bet others did the same thing. Not very professional in my mind. Cheers, |
