The topic is Onsite Wastewater Treatment Systems (Septic Systems)

We will cover:

• basic function and components of a conventional treatment system
• function and components of tertiary treatment systems (Aerobic treatment)
• Evaluations of systems for functioning "Re-inspection"
• Signs of a problem and defect recognition
• Solutions and recommendations for repairs or replacement under the Ontario Building Code
• Education of the homeowner on system function and operation and maintenance

We will also discuss the new Building Code amendment to require septic system maintenance inspections under both the mandatory program and discretionary programs, and the implications for property transactions.

Looks like the well discussion will be at a later date since there is so much to cover on the septic topic.

So far about 20 - 25 inspectors e-mailed with intentions to learn about septics - for FREE.

Stop in even if you are not sure if your schedule will allow it.

Well it has been one week since the PHPIO free seminar and they have as per usual not told us what went on.

This is a prime example on how different associations perform .
