Heritage Caledon, in conjunction with Edifice Old Home Magazine, is pleased to present a**[FONT=Arial]n Old House****Restoration and Maintenance Workshop in Caledon East on [/FONT]Saturday April 21, 2007.**

Discover ways to maintain, restore and rehabilitate various elements of your old house, including roofing, masonry, windows, plaster, trim, and insulation. Learn about historically accurate restoration practices and the use of modern materials. The speaker, Dr. Christopher Cooper, editor-in-chief of Edifice Old Home Magazine, pioneered many of the practices to be discussed. With 24 years experience in the restoration of century old buildings, Dr. Cooper is recognized in Canada and internationally as one of the premier professionals in the field. An entertaining speaker, Cooper has lectured widely about the conservation of older buildings, and has worked extensively on television, including the soon to be released “Cooper’s Canada”.
