Toronto, Canada Aug 14-16 2008 (Thur - Sat) The IR Class starts Aug 15-16.

This Infrared Class is combined with the International Inspector Success Seminar that is on Aug 14 (the 1-day Seminar is FREE - http://www.nachi.org/toronto2008.htm )

The Infrared Certified Training class will be located at the same hotel and starts the day after the Seminar on Aug 15-16. You can attend the Infrared Class only if you wish and do not have to attend Seminar. The IR class is on Aug 15-16.

Do we need to own our own camera already or can we take this course for future knowledge. I would like to learn more about IR but don't forsee a camera purchase for a little while yet.

I will give you my opinion, I'm sure John will chime in later. You will get more out of the course if you have a camera, but not a requirement.

If you take the course, sit next to me and you can use my camera for the entire course!

Thanks for the offer Mario. I am not too sure if I am going to take this course at this time just thinking about it. But I will buy a round or two at the Landing Strip Seminar on Thursday evening just for your generous offer.

No... you do not have to own an IR camera to take the course.

Here is something to think about.

Buy an IR camera for $4500.
Training $500
Total = $5000

If you add $150 to your inspection fee for IR scans, you can pay for
your expense in 2-3 mths. It pays for itself and creates wealth for
many many years. Be the first in your area to offer IR and the market
belongs to you and only you. Think about it.
