A rumor harmful to certain InterNACHI members is partly proven false by my post. Those member's needs far outweigh the inconvenience of other members who are bothered by it merely because of it's source.

As for the accusation that I just sit back and do nothing, I refer you to Chris' account of the number of fake usernames he has had to delete and the thousands of posts staff and I have deleted. I also remind you that there is a members-only section of the board where no non-member can go, and a Misc Discussion forum where no non-member can post.

I stand corrected, you have in the past deleted wands offensive posts....after the damage has been done.

I also remind you that there is a members-only section of the board where no non-member can go, and a Misc Discussion forum where no non-member can post.

Tried and failed at that as well. wand has access to the entire MB, it's not the first time that he has re-posted from the members only sections of the MB and you know that.

Type it all up, Preview the post and read what you wrote, and if you have not pee'd off enough people, you hit the back button by mistake and it all dissappears.

If the Nachi IT department blocked wand from posting in the first place there wouldn't be a need to delete any posts, YES?
Let me know when the Nachi IT department figures out what every other IT dept allready knows, how to block IP addresses, more specifically wands IP address from EVER posting on this MB.

Mario, I'm sorry if ESOP didn't tell you. I personally explained it to them several times and I saw Chris explain it to ESOP once and Joe Farsetta twice. I had no idea that you didn't know. I'll explain. Blocking an IP address does no good. One can simply acquire a new IP then re-register under another name, over and over and over.

No wonder you were blaming me.

Anyway, blocking an IP like you said works... for about 1 minute... until the offender acquires a new IP.

Hi Marcel!!

All is good Marcel, I'm currently doing my level 2 certification with Flir (ITC) in a small city just outside of Toronto, in fact I'm posting from my hotel room. I also just purchased the new B360 IR camera and I love it! As one fellow student said:” It’s the cats ****" I assume that is a compliment!
I'm so sorry to hear that things are at a stand still for most of my fellow Nachi members, personally, I'm enjoying the busiest season ever. I continue to do 5-7 inspections per week; these are combined inspections, IR, Mold and Building Inspections.

If I don't have a chance later, I wish you and your family a very Merry Christmas and a very prosperous New Year!!

Uh, no. Jim Bushart is incorrect. No one can guess the IP address someone will get before they get it, and so no one can block an IP address that has yet to be issued. You can stop saying stupid stuff like "wand's IP address." Anyone can get as many IP addresses as they want and no one can predict the address ahead of time to block them.

Yes, you can block anyone's IP address, but they can just get another, and another, and another.

Now don't make yourself look silly and come back with anything remotely like "block his IP address" again.

Anyway, take this argument somewhere off this thread. I have some work I have to do here.
