I don't know whether they will be able to get out into the lake. Last week it wasn't frozen but it has turned cold up here so who knows.

Last time I inspected an island cottage up there was early November 2005, and that was late to take the boat out as Georgain Bay can get pretty choppy. I think if anyone to is to get to an island in Georgain Bay would have to use an airboat this time of year.

Hi Gary,
Try getting in touch with Larry Ewens. I attended a seminar last year in Branford he ran on log homes. I can't find the speakers name but am sure Larry could help you out.

Kelly Brownell builds, teaches and inspects log homes. He taught "Inspecting Log Homes" at last years convention.

He is from Campbellcroft, ON although I don't remember where or how to get ahold of him, sorry.
