Default Natural Gas Supply Piping Into House From Underground

Has anyone heard of any issues from Enbridge regarding the gas supply line entering the house from underground? I was told that there could be an issue for the new homeowners.

Thanks, Chris

Have not heard anything about the supply piping , but have heard about the vent pipes. The old black ABS can not be used any more and the new pipe must be UL rated S636. If the home has a rented hot water heater with the old ABS pipe and the heater needs to be replaced the home owner has to pay for the new vent to be installed.

Thanks Rob,

From the lack of responses I figured that nobody had heard of one.

Your welcome; I add paragraph to my report about the problem with the ABS pipe just so my clients would know what maybe a required exspence down the road.
