I doubt vines growing in L'Anse aux Meadows now .... -25 celcius and -36 windchill. But the good news is...it is going to warm up to a balmy -23 tomorrow.

Isn't that the truth. I hope others are not put off by my treatment of your post. If the "gore-ites" are so convinced they have it right they should post some facts of their own. Jason stated that he he had done "extensive" research. I wish he would share some of it with us.

I am open to new ideas but they have to be based on something like facts. I have changed my views on a number of issues after increasing my understanding or aquiring new and better information.
I abhor a closed mind and hoestly try to keep mine open.

I promise not to belittle you and apologize for same.(It's my reaction sometimes when I'm cranky) And please forgive me for assuming you agreed with Al Gore when you did not state that.

I seriously would lke to discuss the issue. You should present your opinions both to try and influence others and see if there is any other info you may not be aware of. We can all learn and that includes me.
