Calling all Canadian InterNACHI inspectors;
I am issuing a challenge to InterNACHI inspectors in other areas of Ontario and the rest of Canada to organize their own regional chapter monthly meeting groups. This is the only way that interNACHI and it's members are going to have any say in the way that the home inspection industry is run in Canada. Nick and the rest of the InterNACHI team are supplying you with all of the required marketing tools and training that you need to be very successful in your home inspection business. Now all you have to do is take the ball and run with it, so instead of sitting back and waiting for the other inspectors to make a move why don't you be that inspector. If you do it strictly as a power trip then it will never succeed but if your goal is to help yourself and other InterNACHI members to be the busiest in your region then together everybody will be doing more inspections and making more money. Remember, considering your fellow inspectors as team players and not unwanted competition is the secret to success in this industry. Are you up to the challenge? Good Luck, Neil Card Barrhaven Home Inspectors Inc. Ottawa, Ontario |

Well said Neil. We have been doing just that and it's working very well. One strong healthy organization is much better then a bunch of splinter groups.

The claims of $100,000 per year income are just eye candy. If it sounds to good to be true, it probably is too good to be true!! BTW, Vern. I know Mike Holmes could not legally work in BC, could you?? Last edited by Brian A. MacNeish; 8/4/10 at 2:20 PM.. Reason: TRUTH |

Roy you call it 'trowliing'. I call it getting the word out. Nick has offered to do it for us too so I guess he is going to be 'trowling' as well.

George, You should know better; the word intended was *trawling* Trolling (fishing) From the free Canadian encyclopedia Trolling is a method of fishing where one or more fishing lines, baited with free education and grandfathering are drawn through the water on various forums. This may be behind a moving boat, or by slowly winding the line in when fishing from a static position, or even sweeping the line from side-to-side, e.g. when fishing from another forum. Trolling is used to catch newbie’s, non affiliated and even established fish. Trolling can be phonetically confused with trawling, a different method of fishing where a net (trawl) is drawn through the water instead of lines. Trolling is used both for recreational and commercial fishing whereas trawling is used mainly for commercial fishing. Trolling from a moving boat involves moving quite slowly through the water. This can be accomplished with the use of a special trolling motor. Multiple lines are often used, and outriggers can be used to spread the lines more widely and reduce their chances of tangling. Downriggers can also be used to keep the lures or baits trailing at a desired depth.
