Yepp, the privately owned power corp here is promoting solar!! But notice that they do not promote solar PV since *

10) Is solar energy currently used to generate electrical power at Nova Scotia Power?
No, currently *solar energy is not used to generate electrical power at Nova Scotia Power as it is not nearly as economical for large-scale applications when compared to other renewable sources like wind and biomass.

12)........Solar photovoltaic (PV) panels are an alternate solar technology used to generate electricity. However, *because of their decreased system efficiency and increased cost when compared to solar hot water panels they are generally not seen as the better initial solar investment for most Nova Scotians.

**if a family of 2,3,4 have to live on $35,000/year or less, they need help!!! No, this program is not for fat cats that can afford the $50-$80,000 for solar PV ...........and then get a 25-35% return out of taxpayers funds from outrageously high feed-in tariffs
