OAHI terminates former InterNACHI member Ray Wand's membership.

Mr. Gromicko's decision to post messages from banned ex-members....while, at the same time deleting entire threads containing posts of active members who are critical of his actions related to his financial relationship with his vendors....seems to be at cross purposes.

Does he advocate an open and honest message board that disparages only ASHI, OAHI, and his own Ethics Committee?

When he is publicly challenged by his members for his own decisions...like that of hiring a convicted felon to threaten vendors in order to get them to pay him money and kickbacks from their sales to members....he deletes the entire thread containing their objections and his confessions.

Are the tributes that he pays to himself .... or the posts that are made that harm his enemies ... the only words assured of remaining unedited?

This message board is not restricted to only "InterNACHI-related" news (such as a former member who was removed by our ESOP committee being also removed by another association).

This is an inspection industry message board.

If Ray wanted you to post a letter for all to see how unfairly he was treated at OAHI than it was the right thing to do. Personally I don't have a problem with it. I only have a problem when he attacks NACHI members and me on this MB. It appears that he has curtailed that behaviour recently.

You apologized for the harm to NACHI members that you did with your postings... Why are you seeking to do the same thing on this thread?

I don't think many Ontario Nachi members realize what is going on behind the scenes and what is coming around the corner, which will affect you, me, everyone not affiliated with one particular association. Everyone must be vigilant and must be given a voice at the licencing table when it rears its head. One association should not and will not have exclusivity in dictating the terms for the rest of us given its propensity to operate under the table amply demonstrated in the documentation as above.

Licensing of Home Inspectors here in Ontario? It's not going to happen, not in our lifetime.
CanNACHI will be there for us if it does happen, and if it does IMO the OAHI will not be around or not have much muscle to have any impact.

It is because of the manner in which the OAHI has conducted itself that it will never hold a commanding position in either the market place or in any negotiations over licensing in Ontario ( unlikely though that negotiation might be)

CANACHI may well be our last best hope to oust the old boys and their questionable organizations.

Sure this is posted in the Canadian Inspectors thread but this person did damage to the Organization and to Every Member, not just the Canadians. He continued his attacks on Active Rain and at TIJ. To post anything by this person is an affront to the membership as a whole. The original post only had to do with his personal dealings with OAHI.

And yes, as a result of my posting on this thread, I have already received a middle of the night phone call and instant messages tracked back to Ontario Canada and a number of personal messages through this board. Guess who from....
